A plant of cannabis for medicinal purposes was brought to the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament in Jerusalem, on Tuesday, Nov 24, 2009, for the Labor Welfare and Health Committee. the Committee decided that the Ministry of Health has to regulate within 4 months the process of growth, distribution and use of medical cannabis, including material quality control, cost and the possibility that patients will be given to another group.
